In 1946 the North Palos Firemen’s Club formed and held many fundraisers, including dances, picnics, bingo, raffles and the annual seal drive within the community and made it possible to purchase new fire fighting equipment. This Club was later renamed the North Palos Firefighters Association and has continued the tradition of fundraising for the progression of the District.
